The VIVO Indian Premier League Player Auction 2017 concluded in Bengaluru on February 20, Monday with as many as 66 being bought by eight teams including 27 overseas players. On a day that witnessed intense bidding, a total of INR 91.15 Crore was spent.

Ben stokes begged mouth watering 14.5cr INR for his debut in IPL, he will join the RPS along with another all-rounder Daniel Christian(1cr). There will be tough job for RPS new apponted captian Steve Smith and team management to select only four foreign players, they already have Mitch Marsh, Faf du Plesis, Adam Zampa and Usman Khawaja.

Tymal Mills another english fast bowler goes to RCB for 12cr. RCB will be hoping big performances from him as well. Mills was very impressive in T20 series against india with his quick short bowl slower bowl deliveries.

Trent Boult the Kiwi left-arm fast bowler and South africa's new fast bowling sensation Kagiso Rabada joins KKR and DD respectively. 

SRH bought afghan leggie Rashid Khan for 4cr. Definately he will very happy with that. Chris Woakes and Nathan Coulter-Nile joins KKR for 4.2cr and 3.5cr respectively.

It was biggest surprise for everyone, Imaran Tahir remains unsold after the auction. No 1 ODI bowler failed to attract any bidders in auction. Also ishant remains unsold with his base price 2cr. 

Unmukt Chand definately not having good time, as he was dropped from Delhi team and now without IPL team, lack of perfoemances could be the reason. But, what about Abhinav Mukund and Priyank Panchal, Abhinav recently selected in national side for test series against Australia but couldn't find bidders for IPL contract. Priyank Panchal was leading run-scorer in Ranji Trophy 2016-17, but failed to find place in sold players list.

Many other big names of international cricket were remains unsold as well, which included Ross Taylor, Marlon Samuels, Jason Holder, Colin Munro, Farhaan Behardien, Grant Elliot, Cheteshwar Pujara, Kyle Abbott.
