Yadav A Dhori is the Champion of Nagaji Hindu Supersix tournament 2017. Yadav A is a champion of Supersix tournaments and they have proven it again in one of the competitive tournament of the region as they have defeated mighty LVC Mamuaara in the Final.
Both the finalist team were packed with powerful hitters and excellent bowlers. In the shortest form of the game, you don't have many opportunities, you need to be spot on, one bad over or good can change the phase of the match at any time.
By winning the toss Yadav A decided to bowl first, LVC didn't get the start as they have expected, in-form batsman Pankaj Chhanga gone for first ball duck in very first over of the game, Devraj Chhanga also followed him by scoring just 4 of 2 balls and became the second wicket for Ramshih Ahir. It was a perfect start for Yadav A, as they sent back both the openers of LVC first over. In the rescue of the team, most experienced Narshih Jatiya comes to the crease and took his team out of trouble with his 14 ball 35 runs including 7 fours and 2 sixes, he is a genuine hitter and excellent batsman of the Ahir community I have ever seen. With the help of Kaushik Chhanga 24(10) and Narshi Jatiya 35(14) LVC managed to get 64/5 at the end of the innings. Bowling was excellent from Yadav A, they bowl 3 overs in which they conceded less than 9 per over, that is remarkable figures in Supersix format of the game.
In the chase of 65 runs, Yadav A completely outplayed LVC as they chase it down in just 3.1 overs without losing a wicket. Dilip D Kovadiya made 45 of just 10 balls including 6 sixes and 1 fours. On the other end, Mahendra H Ahir made 16 of 9 balls with 3 fours. Bowling was disappointing for LVC, after setting very good total on the board they could not hold their nerves.
Both teams have played really good cricket throughout the tournament, but as the thumb rule of the game, one team has to lose, and it was LVC this time. Dilip D Kovadiya was the Man of Match for his firing inning of 45.
